Dick Ford Company was started in 1983 as a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Company. Since that time Dick Ford Company has completed hundreds of transactions. Dick Ford Company also manages properties for third party investors. Today Dick Ford Company still offers commercial brokerage and consulting services to clients that are looking for the type of representation that only forty years of diverse experience can provide.

Through his development company, HIW Ltd., he has been involved with commercial real estate investments and the development of an array of projects including apartments, office buildings, retail space, business parks and build to suit projects. HIW, Ltd is actively looking for sound real estate investments and development opportunities.

Commerce Street Investments, a partnership involving Dick Ford and his long time friend Brent Lewis and now his wife, Janet Lewis and his two daughters, Sarah Lewis Briley and Angela Lewis Rogers, is currently making secured real estate loans and investments into small to midsized venture capital companies.

Dick has lived in Amarillo, TX for most of his life. After graduating from High School, Dick served in the US Navy in the Sea Bees. He obtained his Bachelors Degree in Finance and Public Administration in 1980 from West Texas State University. He is a member of the National, State and local Board of Realtors and regularly attends ICSC conferences. His civic involvements include Casa volunteer, Vestry Member of Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, past coach and volunteer for Kids Inc, and currently serving on the board of trustees of the Amarillo Independent School District.
